Musashino and Tama
Where I lived for 10 years and where I loved. Musashino is calm flat land spreading between 10km to 30km west of downtown. Hilly Tama is farther. Both are dominantly residential area. Kichijoji is the largest comercial zone in this region with the good balance of tranquility and convenience. Peacefull mood. Full of music. Full of pretty little shops, restaurants and bars.

I had lived in Koganei city in Musashino area from 2001 to 2005.
It is a quiet and friendly place with huge parks.
The headquarter of famous Studio Ghibli is located in this city.

Our innovative heating system called Kotatsu is low table with blanket. Under the table is well heated. We surround the table and talk in an intimate mood.

Kichijoji, a city 15km west of downtown, is the center of Musashino. It is terrific place with a combination of beautiful park, cheap and nice restaurant, lots of live music place, decent shopping center and nightlife.
